Gloucestershire women start their 2026 One Day Cup campaign in stop-start fashion at Sophia Gardens.
Nearly a two hour rain delay reduced the game to 38 over per side. Glamorgan won the toss and chose to field. This immediately put Gloucestershire under pressure on a tacky surface that offered the bowlers early assistance.
Moledine and Halliday took the the crease for the first time this season. Dubutant Laila Moledina (1) was bowled cheaply followed by Ahearne who demonstrated a few early season jitters allowing Ex Sussex bowler Jax Westley to get her first wicket for Glamorgan with a very floaty fifth ball.
