The first of the Severnside derbies took place this weekend with Glos Women facing a tough ask taking on a Glamorgan side who are looking for Tier One status next season.

And so it proved as an opening partnership between Lauren Parfitt and Daisy Jeanes of 74 in eight overs took the game away from the West Country side at the start of the game. Emily Geach was the pick of the bowlers with 3-23, the best figures for a Glos bowler in T20 cricket.
